Kelsea Ballerini drew both heat and praise at the CMT awards on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023.

Many Social media fans dragged down Ballerini’s woke showcase sharing their disappointment through comments and suggesting that the display would be detrimental to her career.

Following her performance, Ballerini took to Twitter to express her gratitude to the performers who joined her on stage.

“If you go down, I’m going down too. "Thank you to these iconic queens and @manilaluzon @kennedyddoftx @janjanjan @TheOliviaLux and @CMT for celebrating love, self-expression", and performance,” she wrote, quoting her song "If you go down, I'm going down too.".

Kelsea Ballerini is a beautiful and talented country pop star. Do you think her performance at the CMT Award show will affect her career? Should stars use their platform to express their political views?

I feel like stars use their platform to promote their political views, while we only have one voice. It's unfair how they can persuade their fans into going along with their beliefs. They should shut up. Not to mention they risk their careers. Just sing and shut up.

To Renae, we have social media to express our opinions. Look at Bud Light's woke marketing; they lost billions after partnership with trans influencer.

Hey, you want to know what people are sick of? This, being shoved in our face, all the time. In every direction.

Has she spoken out about it? Any regrets?

Tired of this whole woke garbage. Bud light beer has gone queer.
